The 16th Annual Orange Business and Community Expo will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange. The event is free and open to the public.

Registration in advance is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.  Each attendee will receive a visitor’s badge, welcome bag, and event program.

Business owners, their employees, and local residents can look forward to networking, product demonstrations, activities, raffles, and food trucks.  Check our website for more information and our full vendor list at www.orangeedc.com/events_activities.

As a separate event in addition to the Expo, a One-on-One Speed Networking event is taking place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to Expo opening.  This will be a fun and effective way to make connections.  Rob Thomas (ROBTHOMASCT), professional networking coach, will be the moderator.  Seating is limited and registration is required.  Cost is $15 per person and includes goodie bag, refreshments and raffle entry.

Following the Expo, the Orange Chamber of Commerce together with Eli’s Restaurant will host a Business After Hours event under the Pavilion at High Plains Community Center. See the Orange Chamber booth for details.

The Orange Economic Development Corporation hosted its 14th Annual Orange Business and Community Expo  at the High Plains Community Center on Wednesday, June 10. 

Visitors enjoyed food samples from various restaurants such as Eli’s of Orange, Chips, Coromandel, Smoothie King, and Julia’s Bakery. 

The Beardsley Zoo had a box turtle and three Madagascar Hissing Cock Roaches on display (nothing fuzzy). 

As always, the representatives from the Orange VNA, Police and Fire Department happily greeted visitors all day long.

Screen shot 2014-05-16 at 10.50.35 PMThe Orange Economic Development Corporation will be hosting the 13th Annual Orange Business and Community Expo on Wednesday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road. The Expo is free and open to the public.  Spread the word to all your friends, family, co-workers.

You can still get in on it. There are still 6 available spaces.

Start the day by signing up at the Welcome Center for your chance to win a raffle item, then continue your day by enjoying food samples from Chips Restaurant, Julia’s Bakery, Reno’s Pizzeria, Smoothie King and Chefs Emporium to name a few. A series of informative seminars will also take place including, A presentation For First Time Home Buyers, by TD Bank.

“Returning this year, for kids of all ages, will be an Animal Exhibit by Beardsley Zoo and New this year will be a meet and greet with Elsa from the movie “Frozen”,”  said Paul Grimmer, Director of OEDC. “Also for the adults we have networking with 56 other business ventures.  A Business After Hours event hosted by the Chamber of Commerce  and Orange Ale House will follow the Expo.  Details at the Chamber of Commerce booth.”
