Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 205 Meeting House Lane, released the following Holy Week schedule:
On Maundy Thursday, in observance of the night in which Jesus had his last meal with his disciples we will gather at7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary for “A Service of Darkness”. Lights will be extinguished as we hear the Passion of Christ in song and words. Communion by intinction will be offered.
Good Friday service will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This will be a somber service and we will have readings from the Gospel of John.
On Easter Sunday, join us for a Festival of Resurrection: At 6:30 a.m. the youth of Orange Congregational Church will offer their traditional Easter Sunrise service at Hannah’s Hill, by the church. Come to hear their music and meditation. At the conclusion of the service everyone meets at Chip’s Restaurant in Orange for pancakes.
