The town of Orange had a nice night for its Independence Day Concert and Fireworks Show on Sunday.

Fireworks are a big part of any Fourth of July Celebration — it seems more and more regular Joe’s think they are pyrotechnic experts and are firing off professional grade fireworks in their backyards lately. But many spectators prefer and appreciate the actual town or city run shows, like what we heard in Milford on Friday, or saw in Orange last night.

fireworkAnnual Fourth of July concert and fireworks will take place on Saturday, July 5 (rain date Sunday, July 6) at the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange at 6:30 p.m.  The producer of the event did not include the fireworks start time, but Last Year the Fireworks began at 9:30 p.m. 

For the second consecutive year the Orange town news has arranged for the British Invasion Tribute Band to perform for the Independence Day event. The “50-Year Anniversary of the Beatles” show marks the 50-year anniversary of the Beatles first U.S. tour in 1964.

The concert will be followed by a Fireworks Show with Patriotic Music by the world renowned “First Family of Fireworks – Zambelli Fireworks Company”.

Remember, this show is possible thanks to generous donations by sponsors, including major sponsors The Orange Foundation; Cohen & Wolf, P.C.; The Law Offices of Debra Marino and the Town of Orange 

Food vendors and novelty items will be available for purchase at the fairgrounds. Come early to get a good seat.

Admission is free, but there will be a suggested parking donation of $5 that will benefit the Orange Little League
