opportunityResidents in the Longmeadow Road neighborhood off of Grassy Hill Road saw a lot of police activity this morning around 5 a.m.

According to Asst. Chief Anthony Cuozzo said, “We had several open vehicles rifled through and a car stolen from another residence. We are not sure if the key was in the car although there was no signs of forced entry into the vehicle and a spare key is unaccounted for.”

Once again, police remind residents to always lock their unattended vehicles.
Take your valuables with you or keep them out of sight and locked in the trunk to deter the would-be thieves from making you a victim.
