BEST-POLICE-Patch-EVER-275x300On Feb. 11 at 6:54 a.m., Karen Belotti, 34, of 125 Rogers Road, surrendered herself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for her arrest.

According to police, the warrant stemmed from an investigation that has already yielded another arrest.

Belotti stands accused of taking a relative’s credit card, and using it repeatedly at the Valero gas station located at 347 Boston Post Road in Orange, where she would buy gasoline, cigarettes, and food. She also received cash advances from the cards.

She was subsequently taken into custody and charged with five counts of third-degree forgery, four counts of illegal use of a credit card, four counts of receipt of goods from illegal use of a credit card, four counts of credit card theft and fifth-degree larceny.

Belotti was released on a promise to appear in court later that day.
