The Lady Spartans hosted the Sheehan Titans in Woodbridge on Friday the 13th. The game was a rollercoaster of excitement and slick moves that led to a nail-biting fourth quarter and overtime period.

The Titans kept the Spartans on their toes throughout the game, allowing Amity to catch up and tie and then forging ahead again.

Amity was ahead in the first quarter by one (10-9), but after that it was a battle. 26-23, Sheehan in the second. 34-28, Sheehan in the third. Amity tied the game 43-43 in the fourth quarter. Both teams fought in overtime, but in the end, Sheehan came out on top with a 51-49 victory.

In the last two quarters, the game seemed dependent on the foul shots, both teams sunk some and missed a few too.
