If you enjoyed this beautiful weather today, get ready for some wet stuff starting around 5 p.m. or so and into the early morning hours.

Many residents were out at High Plains walking their dogs today and that will most likely just increase as the warmer temperatures roll in.

From our meteorologist Kevin Arnone:

Next storm potential is Monday Night into Tuesday.

I have been on vacation the past ten days so I can’t tell you how well the models have been handling this storm but as of today the models are pretty consistent with wintry weather impacting Connecticut Monday night into Tuesday.

As of now seems to be mostly an Inland head ache, shore looks like it will stay all rain.

I will be updating frequently due to my absence 🙂

He hinted at it earlier in the week, now Meteorologist Kevin Arnone reveals his thoughts about this weekend’s weather.

Weather event for Sat/Sun. As of right now, Saturday morning start time as rain for the shore and rain/snow for inland.

During the overnight hours I think mostly rain except for Northern CT. Sunday morning change over to a very wet heavy snow .

Few details still have to be worked out.

Models have been flip flopping exactly where the rain/snow line will be.
