Congregation Or Shalom

Congregation or Shalom, 205 Old Grassy Hill Road, Orange is hosting a Rummage Sale on Thursday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday & Sunday, July 13, 15, 20, & 22 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Organizers need you to start collecting clean and usable household items and gently worn clothing for the sale.
A rummage sale committee person will be present at Or Shalom to collect all your items Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and MondayTuesday and Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
If you are unable to drop off your items at the above times call Bernice Konowitz at 203-305-1051.
The committee is in need of rolling racks for clothing, either as a donation or to borrow.
Note all donated items must fit inside a car – no large furniture!
Important: They will not except any undergarments, computers/ hardware.

The Church of the Good Shepherd Semi-Annual Rummage Sale

The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 680 Racebrook Road, Orange, invites the public to visit its semi-annual Rummage Sale on Saturday, Nov. 18, 9 a.m. to noon. 

Shoppers will find a wide array of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, along with shoes, handbags, scarves, jewelry, accessories, children’s games, puzzles, toys, books, DVDs, housewares, glassware, pictures, linens, etc. 

“There is something for everyone!  Make sure to stop by and peruse our treasures,” said Elaine Swirsky, long-standing Chairperson of this fun event.  “Start your Christmas shopping early, find a special treasure to put under the tree.  All are welcome to stop by.”

The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 680 Racebrook Road, Orange, Sunday service times includes Rite II Holy Eucharist without music at 8 a.m. and Rite II Holy Eucharist with music @ 10 a.m.  Children’s Christian Faith Formation takes place at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

unnamedThe Church of the Good Shepherd invites the public to visit our annual Rummage Sale on Friday, Nov. 13 from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 14  from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Shoppers will find a wide array of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, along with shoes, handbags, scarfs, jewelry, accessories, children’s games, puzzles, toys, books, DVDs, housewares, glassware, pictures, linens, etc. “There is something for everyone! Make sure to stop by and peruse our treasures,” said Elaine Swirsky, long-standing Chairwoman of this fun event.

Additionally,the Rev. Diana Rogers invites you to stop by Church any Wednesday to enjoy our free lunch program called the Shepherd’s Table beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Bingo. “All are welcome at the Church of the Good Shepherd,” she said.

The Church of the Good Shepherd is located on 680 Racebrook Road, Orange. Sunday service times include Rite II Holy Eucharist without music at 8 a.m.; a special service focused on the Gospel for children at 9 a.m., and Rite II Holy Eucharist with music at 9:30 a.m.
