Following the model of many similar sites in other towns, a resident started the Orange Ct Tag Sale site on Facebook last week to help people sell useful items without having to set up tables and taking time out on a weekend. Although, you may post a tag sale you are having in the local area.
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING ITEMS. Welcome to the Orange Ct Tag Sale site. This is a site to post and sell your gently used items – similar to items you would see at an actual tag sale.
Please DO NOT advertise any services or business you may have. You can post items for sale from your business, but don’t advertise your actual business on here.
DO NOT sell partially used personal items such as lotions, cosmetics, etc.
NO selling of anything illegal (i.e. knock-off purses, mattresses, etc.) If you do so, you will be subject to immediate removal from the site.
When listing, please post a photo, price, and location of where the item is being sold from. (If you are cross-posting, please say that in your post)
There is NO BIDDING allowed.
The first person to comment “interested” should get first dibs. Then you go to the next, etc. If you make contact with that interested person, please allow them sufficient time (12 hrs) to respond back.
If you have multiple items to sell, please create a photo album. Have your photos saved on your computer. Click on “Add Photo / Video,” then click on “Create Photo Album,” and then select your photos to upload. You can put the price and description in the caption for each photo.
Please remove your post immediately after your item has sold and the transaction is complete.
All transactions between parties are to be conducted by private message. If you make an arrangement to pick up an item, please show up to pick up that item! Contact seller immediately if there is an issue with an item pick-up. NO-SHOW BUYERS ARE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL FROM THIS SITE.
–Buy At Your Own Risk! This group and its administrator is not responsible for sales that go awry, the condition of items, or recalls of items.
Whether you are buying, selling, or communicating in any way on this site, please be courteous and play nice! If not, you may be removed from this site. This is not the place for rude comments.
-Please remember to be safe. This is a public group, so DO NOT post your address here. Keep that in private messages or emails.
The museum is always open from 10-3 for tours and shopping for antiques and collectibles every Saturday and they welcome visitors and shoppers to browse among the history of Orange collections as well.
