5. PETITION TO AMEND THE ORANGE PLAN OF CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT – Upon the initiative of the Orange Town Plan and Zoning Commission. To amend the Orange Plan of Conservation and Development regarding Transit Oriented Development in the Town of Orange.

6. PETITION TO AMEND THE ORANGE ZONING MAP – Upon the initiative of the Orange Town Plan & Zoning Commission. The proposed change is to clarify the Zoning Designation for TODD eligible properties located on Marsh Hill Road.

7. PETITION TO AMEND THE ORANGE ZONING REGULATIONS – -Submitted upon the initiative of the Orange Town Plan and Zoning Commission.
To amend Article XXIV – Transit Oriented Development District of the Orange Zoning Regulations.

8. PETITION TO AMEND THE ORANGE ZONING REGULATIONS – -Submitted by 32 Seniors, LLC. To amend the Planned Residential Development zoning regulations to reduce the restricted age from 62 to 55. Changes to Section
383-103 A, 383-109 C (4), and 383-113 (C) are proposed.

9. RESUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT WITH AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS AS PER 8-30G OF THE CT GENERAL STATUTES –Submitted by Sixty Five Marsh Hill Road, LLC for
property known as 65-69 Marsh Hill Road and 0 and 15 Salemme Lane. The mixed use development has underground parking, commercial and residential components. Sixty apartments are proposed. There will be 18 Affordable Units.
A SITE PLAN APPLICATION has been submitted.

The Planning & Zoning Commissioners discuss the town issues.

There will be a special meeting of the Town Plan & Zoning Commission at Town Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m.

This is a meeting with Consultant Planner Glenn Chalder of Planimetrics.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss strategy options, concepts/ideas, and ‘Draft Report July 2016,’ concerning Transit-Oriented Development.

5. SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATION for the conversion of a single family dwelling to accommodate an elderly apartment for property known as 1026 Field Drive, Orange. Submitted by property owner Susan D. Abate. To create an elderly apartment.

6. PETITION TO AMEND the Orange Zoning Map. Submitted by Orange Land Development LLC. To change the zoning designation of the subject property from LI-2/TODD Overlay to TODD. The submission includes a “concept plan” as required by the Orange Zoning Regulations.

The subject property is an 8.091-acre site located beyond the eastern end of Salemme Lane. It is bordered by Dichello Distributors to the south; CTDOT Railroad right-of- way to the east; Yale University West Campus to the north; and Salemme Lane/Town of Orange, N/F Salemme-Riccio, and N/F Sixty Five Marsh Hill Road, LLC to the west.

The parcel is currently undeveloped. The subject property is shown as “0 Marsh Hill Road,” containing 8.091 acres, on Map #2369 on file at the Orange Town Clerk’s office, and is designated by the Orange Assessor as Map/Block/Lot 3-1- 1.
