Lions Wine Tasting Was A Surprisingly Musical Affair

Orange Lion Marianne Miller worked really hard as chairman of the annual Wine and Beer Tasting Fundraiser.

Several venders opened and poured their specially selected varieties of wine and beer, describing the special qualities each one had.

There didn’t seem to be a crowd favorite this year, such as the chocolate wine that took the event by storm two years ago, but everyone seemed to find something they liked.

Craig Calistro entertained again this year, but more people stepped up to the microphone and wowed the crowd with their vocal talents.

At the end, guests filled out sheets and ordered whichever varieties caught their attention which will be picked up at the Forest Package Store in West Haven at a discounted price.

“I’d like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting this fund-raiser,” Miller said.
