On Friday, Sept. 28, the High Plains Community Center will be abuzz with activity with dozens of vendors at the annual Orange Senior Health and Safety Fair from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

The Orange VNA will provide blood pressure screenings, the Orange Lions Club has arranged for vision screenings and the Parish Nurses of Griffin Hospital will offer osteoporosis screenings, breast wellness and medication management.

Representatives from the Orange Police Department and Fire Marshal’s office along with others from insurance companies, adult day care centers, housing options, banking services and municipal services in town will offer information about services and products that benefit older adults.

The first 200 guests to register that day will receive a free lunch. There also will be refreshments and raffle prizes.

This Fair is sponsored by the Orange Visiting Nurses Association, Orange Community Services, the Law Offices of Cohen & Wolf, Lend-A-Hand, and Coldwell Banker.
