IMG_0443The Orange Volunteer Firemen’s Carnival at the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road, ends today, Aug. 4 at 5 p.m. Parking and admission are free.

The carnival is one of the most popular traditional events in town and the proceeds from ride tickets, fire department sponsored games and food from the Pavilion and satellite tent near the fence go to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department to pay for training and equipment.

Not only do they have your favorite carnival treats, but also lobster rolls, roast beef sandwiches, corn and much, much more!

If you took advantage of this option, you may pick up your ride bracelets in the rear of the Main Raffle Booth across from the Pavilion. A photo ID and signature are required at pickup.

The ride bracelets may be used Sunday, 12-5 p.m.

If you did not purchase advance tickets, the firefighters offer an at carnival ride special of $22 for the Sunday Family Fun Day from 12-5 p.m.

Individual ride tickets are available at the ticket booth (not to be confused with the raffle booth).

The big Raffle drawing is at 4:30 p.m. (you do not have to be present to win). Tickets are $5 each and will be sold until moments before the drawing.
