The Amity Spartans Boys Soccer Team ran over Wilbur Cross in Woodbridge Thursday 4-1.
Amity Captain Justyn Broderick (4), assisted by Jeremy Conn (5) quickly scored the first goal of the game at 1:07 in the first half.
Wilbur Cross’s Chris Crespo tied the score at 28:22.
The second half saw a lot of action with Amity taking the lead and never letting go of it.
Scoring for Amity were: Broderick, assisted by captain Dean Schwartz (10); then Schwartz bringing in an unassisted goal; and Conn, with an assist by Broderick.
Amity outshot Wilbur Cross 14-7.
Wilbur Cross goalie Chris Casas made 8 saves to Amity’s Griffin Volta’s 7.
