BEST-POLICE-Patch-EVER-275x300On Sept. 22, Orange Police traveled to Derby Superior Court at 9 a.m. to serve a warrant on a man appearing in court on an unrelated matter.

According to the report, the warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident at Home Depot on July 5, 2015 when Laurence Bardinelli, 28, of 14 Brook St, Ansonia was accused of taking $628 worth of power tools out of the store without paying.

Investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant, charging fifth-degree larceny.

Officers served the warrant and Bardinelli was arraigned at court.
