Every year, the Rotary Club of Orange offers scholarships to deserving Seniors from Orange who are furthering their education in college or other recognized institutions.

 The number of scholarships and the dollar amount of each can vary annually.

 In general, however, the number of scholarships range between three and six, with amounts averaging $2,000.00.

 The scholarships are a one-time, lump sum, given directly to seniors who have been accepted at an accredited college or institution and plan to attend the ensuing years.

 The scholarships are based primarily on the financial need of the student although high school grades, activities and community involvement are considered also.

 The student must be a citizen for the United States and a resident of Orange, CT.

 No member of the immediate family of any Rotarian is eligible for the scholarship.

 The scholarship funds are presented at an Orange Rotary Club meeting in May or June.
