The Orange Country Fair is a tradition in town. With animal exhibits, folksy things like largest sunflower head and biggest pumpkin, fruits and vegetable categories, plants and flowers, arts and crafts, country music, and pig races.

The “unofficial” start is on Friday night with a truck pull in the lower fairgrounds, while up on the main field, people will be dropping off their contest entries, with high hopes of winning the big purple best in show ribbon.

As always, parking is free. Admission is $8 for adults. Senior citizens (65 +) is $5. Children younger than 15 admitted free of charge. Persons with disabilities are free.

Remember, NO PETS or BICYCLES are allowed on the fairgrounds.
