The Farmer’s Almanac reports the following:

November’s Full Beaver Moon reached its peak fullness Tuesday, November 12, at 8:34 a.m.

The full moon has this name because this is when beavers become extremely active in building their winter dams in preparation for the cold weather. These nocturnal creatures work very hard under the light of the full moon.

Although the weather may keep us from seeing it, the power of the full moon will still be in full force.
