The Orange Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance cameras at Home Depot during an incident on Saturday, July 18.

According to police, the man pictured here approached a cashier at Home Depot in Orange with some merchandise in his hands. After the cashier rang up the purchase, the suspect lifted up his shirt to display a handgun tucked into his waistband and told the cashier not to say anything.

The suspect then left with the merchandise and fled in a gray 2012 Chrysler Town and Country minivan bearing the CT license plate “5AGVP4” that was reported stolen one week prior.

According to the report, about 2 hours earlier, the North Haven Home Depot had a similar incident involving the same individual.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Burke at 203-891-2138. (RF Case #20-24486.)
