The spring and summer conditions that we had may be detrimental to the rich colors of fall. The leaves may dry and fall before they have a chance to change color.
Yesterday, Sept. 22, was the first day of Autumn and the weather conditions from now on also count. We will need dry, warm sunny days and cool, but not freezing nights for a pretty leaf-peeping season.
