During the last month, Connex Credit Union collected donations from its employees and members of the community in support of Miracle Jeans Day, a national promotion run by Credit Unions for Kids that helps fund cutting-edge research and innovative technology for hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network.

The credit union matched the first $1,000 in donations and permitted employees that contributed $15 or more to wear jeans to work on Wed., Sept. 9.

“I’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came together once again in support of the young patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center,” said Carl Casper, executive vice president, and chief operating officer, Connex Credit Union. “This is our sixth consecutive Miracle Jeans Day and we once again passed our $1,000 donation goal, a true testament to the spirit of our employees and the surrounding community.”
