Orange police responded to the Derby Courthouse on Wednesday, July 21 at 12:24 p.m. when they learned that Mario Simmons, 39, of New Haven, who was wanted on two separate warrants from this town, was being held on an unrelated matter.

The first warrant that was served charged fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny.

The second warrant charged sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Simmons was held on arraignment at the Derby Court.
