The Orange Volunteer Firemen’s Carnival will take place at the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road, on the following dates and times.

Thursday, Aug. 5 – 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Friday, Aug 6 – 5:00 PM to 12 midnight, with Fireworks at night.

Saturday, Aug. 7 – 12 Noon to 12 midnight, with Fireworks at night.

Sunday, Aug. 8 – 12 Noon to 5:00 PM

Remember, there are a lot of food vendors offering a wide variety of snack, lunch and dinner choices. The OVFD runs and benefits from the big spread under the pavilion and the satellite tent on the street side of the grounds.

It also sponsors the 50/50 raffle under the big ticket tent across from the pavilion and other games that are separate from the carny run games.

On Saturday, there will be a COVID Vaccination clinic from 12-5 p.m. Get a shot, get a free ride ticket.

Also on Saturday, go to the raffle booth early in the day and fill out a ticket for a special drawing that afternoon to win $1,000.

IF IT RAINS

If it rains on any of the carnival days, check in on Orange Live to see if the grounds are still open to visitors. In the past, even if the rides aren’t running, the volunteers work tirelessly at preparing food for you and your family for lunch and dinner. So far, the only thing the forecast shows is sticky, humid weather, and with some luck, the OVFD will enjoy four precipitation-free days and nights for the festivities.
