Selectman Mitch Goldblatt had the honor of lighting the Menorah on the fifth day of Hanukkah during a huge outdoor celebration at High Plains Community Center on Thursday night, Dec. 2.

Click HERE for a short video of the lighting.

The event began with a parade of vehicles driving from Chabad of Orange/Woodbridge on Derby Avenue to High Plains where the lighting took place, followed by a stunt bike demonstration featuring champion riders from across the country.

Donuts and other refreshments were served to spectators of all ages.

The warmer than usual temperatures made for a very pleasant evening for the annual event.

A very Happy Hanukkah to all of our readers of the Jewish faith.
