Officers responded to the Police Department at 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 13 to process Melissa Burns, 35, of West Haven, who’d been detained by the CT State Police at Troop I on an unrelated matter, then transferred to Orange on an active arrest warrant.
According to the report the warrant stemmed from an incident on Dec. 11, 2018 at the DSW Store on the Boston Post Road.
Burns was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She posted a $500 bond and was given a court date of Oct. 5.
A Bridgeport man turned himself in at Orange Police headquarters on a warrant on Aug. 15 at 11:57 a.m. The warrant stemmed from an incident at Home Depot on June 17.
Police said Antonio Silva, 53, was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 5.
On Aug. 16 at 2:51 p.m., officers responded to Burlington Coat Factory, 80 Boston Post Road on a complaint of theft by an employee. Investigation revealed that Aquell D. McKay-Henderson-Don, 19, of West Haven took money from the cash register while at work.
He was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny, then released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 5.
