Girls Swimming and Diving: Cheshire Kicks Past Amity In Orange
The Lady Spartans Swimming and Diving Team hosted the Cheshire Rams at the Orange Pool on Friday, Oct. 19.
Amity knew that this was going to be a battle, and they worked just as hard as always, but this one simply went in Cheshire’s favor 98-80, and Amity dropped to 10-2 for the season.

Girls Swimming and Diving: Amity Splashes Past North Haven On Friday
The Lady Spartans Swimming and Diving team was on the road in North Haven on Friday.
Although Amity only won four of the 12 events, the girls outscored the home team by 11 points and defeated North Haven 97.5 to 86.5.

Boys Swimming and Diving: A Great Senior Day Victory For The Spartans
The Amity Spartans Swimming and Diving Team hosted the Xavier Falcons from Middletown in Orange on Monday, Feb. 19.
This was a special night for the six Amity seniors: Uranik Klobucishta, Colin Roy, Joe Sugarmann, Blake Wetter, Kevin Yanagisawa and Weichu Yu, who were honored during a brief ceremony before the meet marking their final year on the high school team.
It also was special for Coach Todd Rainey and the rest of the Spartans who celebrated an impressive 101-74 victory.

The Amity Boys Swimming and Diving Team was on the road in Shelton on Friday.
The Shelton Gaels competed well, winning a majority of the events, yet the Amity Spartans outscored them 90-78, winning their seventh regular season meet.

Boys Swimming and Diving: A Victory on Senior Night
The Amity Spartans Swimming and Diving team hosted the North Haven Indians in Orange on Monday night.
Prior to the meet, Amity’s six senior members — Zac Babbitz, Jethin Gowda, Matthew Hill, Daniel Madsen, Sergey Savelyev, and Sakkarin Vilay — were recognized for their contributions over the years and for their future endeavors.
The Spartans defeated the Indians 98-73.
There are only three more regular season meets, all of which are on the road this month.
