The Amity Spartans Boys Swimming and Diving Team had three consecutive wins at the beginning of the 2021-22 season, but on Saturday, Jan. 8, they were out splashed by East Lyme in East Lyme.

The Spartans, now 3-0 for the season, swam past Lyman Hall 97-77.

Amity won the Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) girls’ swimming championship Wednesday at the Hutchinson Natatorium at the Southern Connecticut State University campus.

The Amity Girls Swimming and Diving team won another one tonight, this time at Foran High School in Milford against Lauralton Hall.
The Lady Spartans or “Swimming’ Women” now have a 6-1 record for the season, losing only to Glastonbury, 98-83, back on Sept. 25.
Todd Rainey’s girls had a strong showing tonight, winning this one 96-85.

Coach Todd Rainey’s girls did it again, showing the same skill and spirit we’ve come to love and appreciate in these incredible athletes over the years.
