Although you won’t see any sobriety roadblocks in Orange this Labor Day weekend, don’t think that it means the police aren’t out there.

The Orange Police Department will have extra rolling traffic enforcement patrols keeping an eye out for all sorts of violators.

So, to state the obvious, don’t drink and drive, don’t drive while otherwise impaired, buckle up, speeding won’t get you anywhere faster – especially if you are stopped and given a ticket.

By the time you see a radar patrol car, he or she already has your speed recorded.

Just be careful out there, watch out for the other guy … and don’t be that “other guy.”
