Around 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the Orange Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Dogburn Road near the Woodbridge town line for a vehicle roll-over.
First responders found the car off the road on its side. All of the occupants had gotten out of the vehicle on their own.
The narrow road was closed during the cleanup.
Remember, Orange is lucky to have a dedicated volunteer fire department. Many of the members who responded were celebrating the holiday with family and/or friends when the tone came in. They left these gatherings and rushed off to help someone in a time of need. That’s what they do. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, or how cold or hot it is. The men and women of the OVFD are always there for you.
Everyone have a safe and happy holiday. Don’t drink and drive. Take care!
