The Orange Community Farmers’ Market is open today, Thursday, July 6 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. The event runs on Thursdays until September 29 under the Pavilion at the Orange Fairgrounds, High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road in Orange.
There will be 15 vendors selling their farm-grown products including vegetables, cut flowers, figs, citrus trees, maple syrup, meats, baked goods, oils, pasta, kinds of butter, teas, spices, facial scrubs and soaps, and more!
Farms from Orange to Cheshire will be present; including Mapleview, Shamrock, Grassy Hill, Fox Hollow, B4 and After, Laurel Glen, Guardians, Oronoque, and Wayne & Son Growers. Other vendors include Durante’s Pasta, Seasonal Catering, Sweet Seidner’s, Whole German Bread and food trucks–Zuppardi’s Pizza and Szabo’s Seafood also will be at the market.
Be sure to take advantage of the new Lions Water Fountain and the Recycling Committee’s new trash and recycling bins while you’re there.
