On July 7 at 11:29 p.m. Adam A. Stula, 33, of West Haven turned himself in at the Orange Police Department, 314 Lambert Road, on an active arrest warrant stemming from a March 13 incident at Target on the Boston Post Road in Orange.

According to the report, Stula was accused of taking $879 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and he was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 9.

Officers were called to Chef’s Emporium at 449 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint Feb. 12 at 2:37 p.m.

According to the report, investigation revealed that Sean Amendola, 46, of West Haven took about $1,000 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

He was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny and placed on a $15,000 surety bond for court Feb. 26.

Orange Police responded to a complaint of a shoplifting in progress at the Target store, 25 Boston Post Road on July 17 at 2:30 p.m.

During the investigation, officers learned that Wendy Shaw, 36, of New Haven allegedly had attempted to take $733.69 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Shaw was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny and possession of less than a half an ounce of marijuana.

She was held on $500 non-surety bond for court July 18.

During the investigation, officers learned that Latanya Sledge, 40, of 20 Howard Avenue, New Haven
had taken $730.68 worth of merchandise from the store without paying.

She was stopped outside by store security and held for police. Sledge was subsequently taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny. 

She was released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 19.

Police were dispatched to the Target Store, 25 Boston Post Road, on a shoplifting complaint Dec. 2 at 10:49 p.m.

During the investigation, officers learned that Robert Flanagan, 57, of 18 Davis St., New Haven, had selected a $649.99 television and left the store without attempting to pay for it.

Police found Flanagan attempting to drive away from the scene and took him into custody.

He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and held on $1,000 bond for court Dec. 3.
