The Orange Country Fair Committee is sponsoring a Food Drive on Saturday, April 10 from 9 am-12 pm under the food pavilion at the fairgrounds. The drive will benefit the town’s Community Services Food Bank and Food2Kids programs.
The Orange Country Fair Committee wants to give back to the community and show its appreciation for the love and support over the past year.
They are starting the planning process and fully intend to have a fair in the fall. While it may not look exactly like fairs in the past, they hope to bring you some fun and still keep everyone safe.
If you are coming to the paper shredding/mattress recycling event, just swing around to the right to the pavilion to drop off your food items. The weather is supposed to be clear, so it will be a great day in Orange!

What is needed?

Donated food/gift cards/cash will go to the Community Services Food Bank as well as to the Food2Kids programs here in Orange.-Items for the F2K program include single-serve packaged food (e.g. juice boxes, cereal cups, microwavable mac and cheese cups, etc.).

Food Bank needs include canned vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, paper towels, etc., etc.

Both of these programs were heavily used over the last year and need replenishment.

Gather up those food items, gift cards, and donations and bring them to the Fair Grounds on April 10.

For the second time this year, on September 17, the Orange Lions Club completed a food drive for the Orange Food Pantry. The generous support of neighbors, friends, and Lions members resulted in a very large donation of food staples and gift cards.

A van full of food and more than $2,700 worth of Shop Rite and Stop and Shop gift cards were donated! Because of this, many local families who are suffering from food insecurity will be assisted.
