On Sept. 28 at 6:16 a.m., Melissa Matysovzsky, 34, of 26 Allen St, Stratford, surrendered herself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for her arrest.

The warrant stemmed from an internal theft at Colony Hardware on Lambert Road, where $30,000 worth of tools and electronics was taken by a former employee.

According to the report, Matysovzsky helped that former employee sell the stolen merchandise. Investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant.

She was charged with first-degree larceny and held on $100,000 bond and arraigned later that day.
