In 2003, the Orange Ale House began its transformation from a neighborhood bar to become the Orange Ale House Bar & Grille, a family-friendly dining spot during the day and a favorite place in which to have a fundraising event.

Owner Jim Hassenmayer and his sons, Dan and Rob are well known to regular customers and have helped make the Ale House a household name.

The Hassenmayers often can be seen at town wide events, such as the Rotary Lobster Festival where they sponsor the beer tent.

Since he took over the business,  Jim has hosted countless fundraising events, providing the food and a nice clean venue for charities like Jam for Jimi’s Friends, a motorcycle ride for the Milford Literacy Center, raising money for Keith Johnstone, the quadriplegic Bethany firefighter and so much more.

Aside from this, the Ale House also boasts a wonderful menu [https://www.orangealehouse.com/page/21106-Menu] and was one of the first Orange establishments to recognize the versatility and popularity of grilled cheese sandwiches. The lobster grilled cheese is at the top of the list for anyone that has tried it.

Salads, burgers and pizza, using dough from the popular Salerno’s Pizza Restaurant.

Moms and Grandmas love celebrating Mother’s Day with family by having a nice quiet dinner at the Orange Ale House in the remodeled dining room.

If you haven’t gone to the Orange Ale House in a while, afraid that it’s “just a bar.” Think again, stop by, have a seat and enjoy.

Friday & Saturday – Noon to 2AM

Happy Hour – Mon to Fri 4 – 7PM
