The Amity Boys Swimming and Diving Team took on Lyman Hall in Orange on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The Spartans, now 3-0 for the season, swam past Lyman Hall 97-77.

Unlike most other Amity Sports teams, the Amity Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving Teams’ meet results are usually posted here on the day of the competition thanks to the cooperation of their wonderful Head Coach Todd Rainey.

Year after year, the coach has included us in his e-mail notifications enabling us to keep the public informed of how the teams performed at each meet.

The 2021-22 Amity Boys Swimming and Diving Team includes the following athletes:

There are six seniors on this year’s team: Jack Belfonti, John Hallstrom, Seamus Hennessy, Kevin Sweeney, Nolan Young, and Yaroslav Zabel

The seven Juniors on the roster are: Henry Atwood, Benjamin Frazer, Baran Halicigil, Yazeed Hasan, Matthew Li, Allen Liu, and Eric Yang.

There are three sophomores on the team: David Edwards, Adam Liu, and Alden Zimmerman.

Rounding out the team are four freshmen: Noah Bayer, Yousef Hasan, Matthew Muravnik, and Colin Spoerndle.
