Fun Filled Hoedown Fundraiser Planned
Saddle Up and mosey on over to the Orange Hills Country Club, 389 Racebrook Road, on Friday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. for an Old Fashioned Hoedown hosted by the Orange Republican Town Committee.
Tickets are $75 per person ($85 at the door), First come, first served – space is limited.
Includes pulled pork and all the “fixins,” and more. Appetizers, dinner, dessert, coffee, music and raffles. Beer and wine included, cash bar will be available.

Orange Republicans Plan Annual Irish Dinner
The Orange Republican Town Committee is sponsoring its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Monday, March 16 at Biagetti’s Restaurant, 77 Campbell Ave., West Haven at 6 pm.
There will be a complete Irish Dinner with Corned Beef and Cabbage and all that goes with it.
Tickets are $38 per person and reservations must be made in advance by Sunday, March 8.
Checks should be made out to ORTC and mailed to P.O. Box 632, Orange CT 06477.
There will be a cash bar and door prizes. We hope many of our friends will join us. It is always an enjoyable opportunity for “Wearing of the Green” by all who attend.

Republican Headquarters Opens on Wednesday (tonight)
The Orange Republicans announce the opening of its headquarters at 400 Boston Post Road (Next to Kinkos) in Orange.
Join them for the Grand Opening on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. Be sure to bring a few friends with you.
Candidates attending will be Themis Klarides (114th), Charles Ferraro (117th), Matt Gaynor (14th), Tom Miller, (Judge of Probate) and Pam Staneski, (119th).
Signs for many of the GOP Candidates will be available.
Light refreshments will be served.

Who Will Be On The Republican Slate?
The Orange Republicans will have their caucus tonight at High Plains Community Center at 8 p.m. at which time, candidates for the 2013 Municipal election will be nominated and party members will make their choices for each position in their slate.
We know that First Selectman Jim Zeoli is running for re-election, as are selectmen Judy Williams, John Carangelo and others, but who will fill the rest of the Republican slate?
Orange Live will have the answer after the caucus.
