Support the Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary by treating your children to a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The Easter Bunny is making an early trip to Orange again this year. Auxiliary members will help the Bunny hide plastic eggs in your yard on the night of Saturday, March 27, 2021, for your kids to wake up to on Sunday morning!

The Easter Bunny will leave a note along with eggs filled with your choice of candy (no nuts) or toys.

This is a fundraiser to benefit the OVFD, and the cost is $18 for the first 2 dozen eggs, $7 for each additional dozen. They can only be delivered within the town of Orange In case of rain or snow, eggs will be left on your front porch or steps.

20161204_090354The Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is hosting a bake sale at Treat Farm, 361 Old Tavern Road, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Sunday Dec. 4.

The goodies include pies, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, fudge and dozens of varieties of the best treats they can muster — and these women KNOW how to bake!

Some of this year’s treats (pictured at right) include: Ready for hot chocolate marshmallows; Moist, delicious brownies; yummy Santa face cookies; Mint Thumbprint cookies and cranberry pistachio cookies…Incredible and SO reasonably priced even a child with $1 can walk away with something special and a BIG smile on his or her face!

Year after year the Auxiliary members seem to outdo themselves introducing some new hot item that you will most likely be dying to try making when you get home.

Hot chocolate and hot cider also will be available for sale.

The new Auxiliary cookbook, also is be available for sale.

All proceeds benefit the Orange Volunteer Fire Department.

IMG_5336The Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary thanks everyone who showed their support for the fire department during its 6th annual Pancake Supper at Chip’s Family Restaurant on Wednesday night.

Both the 5:30 and 6:30 seatings were well attended and everyone seemed to have a nice time and enjoyed their breakfast for dinner.

Proceeds from the evening went to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department for equipment and other expenses.

The attached photos were taken at the end of the evening.

The Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will host its annual Christmas Bake Sale at Treat Farm, 361 Old Tavern Road, Orange, on Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fresh, home baked goodies include pies, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, fudge and cookie bars.

If you’ve come to the sale in the past, you know that the Auxiliary women are among the best bakers in town. There is always something for everyone.

Hot chocolate and hot apple cider also will be available.

She was the wife of Fred Palmer and mother of Carla and Debbie. 

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, 4 – 8 p.m. at First United Church of Christ Congregational, 34 West Main Street, Milford.

Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at the church in Milford. 

The arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford.

The Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is a very important component of the Fire Department Family.  The wives, daughters and girlfriends and other family members of the volunteer firefighters work hard year round raising money to benefit the department for training and equipment.

The Auxiliary is planning its first Craft and Vendor Fair at Fire Station 2, 355 Boston Post Road, Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is open to the public and will include vendors from Pampered Chef, Origami Owl, and Thirty-One Gifts, as well as crafts and goods from CandElaine, Daisy Blue Naturals, and Far Mill Crafts.

If you are a vendor interested in renting a table for $30 (8 ft table and chair provided), or are looking for more information, e-mail Marie Rossi at rerossi@snet.net or call 203-430-8646.
