The Spartans now move onto the playoffs and a bid to break their own record for the most consecutive state titles.
Last year, they made history with and unprecedented Four-In-A-Row. The Spartans know that they are not invincible and they work hard in every game. The road ahead certainly won’t be easy, but fans are still hopeful and believe that they can win their fifth state championship title in 2017.
The Spartans play in the SCC Quarterfinal at Amity on Monday at 4 p.m.
