The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory that is in effect until 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 2.

Expect northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph now through 4 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

In addition, due to snowmelt and recent rainfall some tree root systems may be somewhat compromised potentially leading to some uprooted trees.

Be prepared and be careful out there.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for our area.

The wind advisory will remain in effect 1 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Easterly winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph can be expected late tonight through Saturday morning.

Possible impacts include downed tree limbs, trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

To prepare, make sure all light and loose objects, including chairs, tables, flower pots, etc. are secured or moved into a safe enclosed space.
