Maplewood at Orange received the 2013 Shining Star Award for supporting the Senior Wish Society of Milford. The award recognizes Maplewood’s commitment and dedication to the Senior Wish Society, with their recent contribution (see photo).

Senior Wish Society assists Milford and Orange seniors with purchases and expenses they may not be able to afford. The mission of the society is to bring together providers of services to the elderly for the purpose of granting wishes to elderly recipients of limited income.

This donation is the result of Maplewood at Orange’s recent annual Festival of Trees event where local businesses, organizations and individuals donate decorated holiday trees that are part of a silent auction event.

“Maplewood of Orange is proud to support the local community and charities such as the Senior Wish Society of Milford. We are happy to lend a hand to organizations that make a difference in the lives of seniors, all of whom we hold near and dear to our hearts at Maplewood,” said Amber Braman, Executive Director of Maplewood at Orange.
