Orange police were called to Target, 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint on July 16 at 7:38 p.m.

Investigation revealed that Erica L. Flanagan, 35, of Milford took more than $500 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

She was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny.

Flanagan received a promise to appear in court on July 28.

On Jan. 3 at 11:45 p.m., Tyiesha Sanders, 25, of East Haven surrendered herself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for her arrest.

The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident on October 26, 2016 at the Ocean State Job Lot store when Sanders and an accomplice stole merchandise valued at about $110.

Investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant, which was served at police headquarters.

Sanders was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released after posting $1,000 bond, for court Jan. 17.

Officers expect to make further arrests in this case.

BEST POLICE Patch EVEROn August 30 at 9:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Kohl’s store regarding a shoplifter.

During the investigation police learned that William Warren, 54, of 311 Cleveland Ave., Long Branch, NJ, had taken $275 worth of shoes from the shelves and left the store without attempting to pay.

Store security agents stopped him and held  him for police. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and held on $1,000 bond.

Officers later learned that Warren was wanted on two arrest warrants from the New Haven Police Department, both of which were served.
