On Monday, Aug. 30, Orange police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Target, 25 Boston Post Road at 7:44 p.m.

Investigation revealed that Kyle A. Petrokansky, 34, of Wolcott took $138 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Petrokansky was held on a $100 bond and received a court date of Aug. 31.

On July 17 at 7:16 p.m. Orange police responded to the Target store at 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint.

According to the report, Randy D. Fleming took $269 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

He was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny and was released on a promise to appear in court on July 28.

 

Editor’s Note: Target has very good anti-theft security measures in place, as you can ascertain from the past two blotter items. So, stop trying to steal from the store.

On Wednesday, April 21, Orange Police were called to Target, 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint at 10:11 p.m.

According to the report, the investigation revealed that Brendan P. Maloney, 33, of Milford, took $296 worth of merchandise without paying for it.  Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny ad second-degree criminal trespass.

Maloney was released on a promise to appear in court on May 11.

On Jan. 6, at 2:03 p.m. Orange police responded to the Target Store at 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint.

The investigation revealed that Christopher M. Carr, 26, of Milford had taken merchandise without paying for it. He was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Carr was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 18.

BEST-POLICE-Patch-EVER-275x300Officers responded to the Target store, 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint June 5 at 11:08 p.m.

Officers learned that David Adams, 50, of 825 Morrison Ave ‪#‎12D, Bronx, NY and Arthur Richardson, 59, of an unknown address, had filled two shopping carts with vacuum cleaners, then ripped off the security tags.

The total value of the vacuum cleaners was $2,607.35.

According to the report, the two men attempted to remove the merchandise from the store without paying, but were stopped by security and detained for police.

Police said Richardson initially gave a false name to the responding officers.

Both were subsequently taken into custody and charged.

Adams was charged with conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, attempt to commit fourth-degree larceny, and second-degree criminal trover.

He was released on $1,000 bond for court June 19.

Richardson was charged with conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, attempt to commit fourth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal trover, and interfering with an officer.

He was held on bond for court June 8.
