The National Weather Service has issued an updated Winter Weather Advisory.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. Thursday to 7 p.m. Friday.
Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected on Thursday, with total snowfall accumulations of 5 to 8 inches by the end of the event on Friday.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
This will be a long-duration winter weather event. Light to moderate snowfall is likely Thursday morning into evening. Periods of light snow are then expected Thursday Night into Friday afternoon, before ending in the evening.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday. Snow is expected with total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches in southern Connecticut

The most likely time of development for snow will be in the early to mid-afternoon.

Snow will end as a period of light rain in the evening so plan on slippery road conditions.

Orange students will have the opportunity to sleep in late on Wednesday (Feb. 13) due to the messy weather conditions.

A 2-hour school delay has been called for the safety of the students (and school bus drivers).

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area now through 6 a.m. on Sunday.

Mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch expected.

Plan on slippery road conditions.

An advisory is issued when a hazardous weather event is occurring, imminent or likely.
