At Fairleigh Dickinson, Ide began her journey through film that led her to the specialty of producing, and soon into a path of success. Within her first year, Ide was working on senior thesis films which were just the start. Come her Junior year she was the youngest student to be selected to hold a Line Producing position on a feature film that the school had partnered with professionals to make.

Shortly after graduating and accepting a position at a film distribution company, DigiNext Films, she was notified of the incredible news that her senior thesis film, “Unheard” was accepted into not one, but two film festivals.
Unheard is a short film about young Emily, a local small-town girl who runs away from home after
finally being fed up with the estranged relationship with her parents, and her struggle with being bullied at school. Having left her hearing aids behind, Emily is left to wander the unknown of the world. With little way to communicate and only a few dollars to her name, Emily struggles with her inability to hear. This is Emily’s story, a world without sound.

Unheard will be having its Worldwide Premiere at the Socially Relevant Film Festival in NYC from March 16-22 and will be having its New Jersey Premiere at the Garden State Film Festival from March 22-25.
