Cookies & Coloring for Adults
Tuesday, February 14, 2-3 p.m.
Think of the fun you had and the hours you spent with your coloring books and crayons in your childhood. Let’s return to those happy days and in the process reduce your stress, make new friends, and nibble some cookies. All supplies will be provided. Registration is required. Presented by the Friends of the Library. 

An Afternoon with Nat King Cole
Saturday, February 18, 1 p.m.
Join the Jim Scianna Trio, featuring bassist Jim Scianna, vocalist Atla DeChamplain, and pianist Matt DeChamplain, as they present songs and arrangements in the style of vocalist, pianist, and bandleader Nat King Cole. Registration is required. Presented by the Friends of the Library.

Battery Motor Making

For tweens in grades 4 to 6. Learn how to make a working magnetic motor using a battery, magnets, and copper wire. All material will be provided. Registration is required. Space is limited.
Teen Craft: Paint by Numbers

For students in grades 6-12. Learn how to create a paint-by-numbers style painting in this fun afternoon class. No painting experience necessary. All materials will be provided. Registration is required. Space is limited.
Art in the Library Reception

In honor of the February exhibit: Watercolors and colored pencil drawings by Suzanne Wagner and mixed media by Barbara Dierolf, on view February 2-27.
The Bookcase Book Discussion Group

Join Bookcase leader Toby Zabinski for a discussion of The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman. Inspired by the life of the woman who would become the mother of Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro, this novel offers a lush, lyrical depiction of 19th-century Jewish life in the Danish West Indies.
