On Thursday, June 26, at 1:02 a.m. Orange police observed a motor vehicle driving erratically on the Boston Post Road.
Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and spoke with the driver, Amaadi N. Cole, 29, of Hamden.
According to the report, Cole had a slow speech and slurred his words. He was asked to perform Standardized Sobriety Field Tests.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Cole posted a $1,000 bond and received a court date of July 9.
