On Friday, Jan. 26 at 9:37 p.m. patrol officers responded to the area of Racebrook Road on a report of a vehicle swerving out of its lane.
According to the report, officers stopped the car after observing the vehicle pass through a red light.
During the stop, officers spoke to the driver Simon C. Edgett, 48, of Milford and administered Standardized Sobriety Field Tests. Subsequently, Edgett was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Edgett posted a $175 cash bond and received a court date of Feb. 8.
