Orange Police: Woman Arrested On Warrant Charging Resisting Arrest, Criminal Impersonation

On Saturday, April 22, Orange police responded to the Hamden Police Department at 11:52 p.m. to pick up Ebony L. Smith, 41, of Wethersfield who had an active arrest warrant out of the Town of Orange.

The warrant, charging sixth-degree larceny, interference/resisting arrest, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and criminal impersonation stemmed from an incident that occurred on March 13 at Burlington Coat Factory.

Smith was taken into custody and charged.

She was released on a promise to appear in court on May 4.
