While patrolling the parking lot of 25 Boston Post Road (Target Store area) at 6:44 p.m. on Monday, March 6, Orange police came across a vehicle registration plate that showed a warrant for the registered owner.
Police encountered Zaneta Langley, 28, of New Haven, who initially provided the officers with a false name to appear as if she wasn’t the registered owner of the vehicle to avoid being taken into custody.
The officers were able to prove that the name provided was not a match for her. Langley then admitted to providing a false name. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with criminal impersonation and interference/resisting arrest.
Langley received a promise to appear in court on March 20.
