On Thursday, June 30, Orange police responded to 80 Boston Post Road (Burlington) on a shoplifting complaint at 9:27 p.m. .
During the investigation officers learned that Kyle J. Valentine, 31, of New Haven took $750 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny.
Valentine was released after posting a $500 bond and received a court date of July 13.
